What is it?
Since the mid 1940's RKS Laboratories (and former companies) have been leaders in product enhancement. This encompasses
testing, benchmarking and consultancy, directed towards problem solving for industrial and commercial products and technologies.
We are more than just a testing laboratory. Our mantra is 'Intelligent Testing' - unlike a traditional laboratory we will not simply issue
a pass or fail certificate, instead our consultants will keep you informed throughout the testing process, suggest possible failure
modes and make recommendations for improvements.

Design and build bespoke equipment (such as automated rolling road simulation as used by Powakaddy, complete with UV, heat, rain, mist and hill simulation capabilities)

3 m x 250 mm "SuperGun" to test products such as footballs (to FIFA Standards etc)

Programmable environmental chambers capable of rapid temperature and humidity cycling, ovens, freezers and furnaces

QUV and Xenon Arc for simulation of extended light exposure

Large volume temperature controlled salt spray

Instron mechanical testing with 10 tonne compression / testing and integrated environmental chambers

Taber Abrader wear testing
